A production liquidation engine for a live trading floor
Conducted systematic long-short equity research across APAC markets, developing alpha signals with cross-sectional factor models. Alongside the research, I built and deployed a production end-of-day liquidation engine automating the execution of 15,000+ positions daily.
Owned end to end in a live trading environment, improving execution reliability and reducing operational risk. Details are confidential, and I am happy to talk through the design decisions in an interview.

Machine learning on signals nobody had automated before
Mosquito feeding behavior is recorded as electrical waveforms, and labelling them by hand was the bottleneck for an entire research program. I modeled the time series and automated the waveform labelling process across five different ML strategies, going deep on an unfamiliar, high-stakes biological domain.
Published as peer-reviewed, NSF grant backed research in Scientific Reports, the first machine learning approach applied to waveforms from blood-feeding insects, the kind that spread disease.

Turning non-technical founders' asks into fundable plans
Co-founded the first startup accelerator at the Claremont Colleges. The daily work was requirements extraction: sitting with student founders who knew what they wanted but not what to build, and turning that into plans investors would fund.
Supported 18 startups, helped raise over $2.6M in capital, and built a network of 41 mentors and VCs with an alumni mentorship pipeline.
